Washington, D.C. Internships:

Thank you for your interest in serving as an intern in our Washington, D.C. office. Senator Warnock welcomes highly motivated, detail-oriented, and energetic individuals for internship positions during the spring, summer, and fall semesters. The internship program is a unique opportunity to learn about the legislative branch and the Senator’s work in D.C. on behalf of Georgians.

Intern responsibilities include, but are not limited to, interacting with constituents by phone and as they visit D.C., logging constituent opinions, leading tours of the U.S. Capitol, assisting with administrative tasks, attending committee hearings, tracking legislation, conducting legislative research, and drafting memos.

Qualified candidates should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and should be team-oriented, highly organized, and resourceful. Candidates must be college students or college graduates, and those with Georgia ties are strongly encouraged to apply. Applications include a cover letter, a resume, a short writing sample, and a list of three references.

Note: The office offers two six-week summer sessions in D.C. If a student has academic or program requirements that need to be met outside of the six-week session, please mention that in your application.

Georgia Internships:

Each semester, Senator Warnock welcomes highly motivated, detail-oriented, and energetic individuals for internship positions in his Georgia offices. Responsibilities include: answering the telephones, logging constituent opinions, assisting members of senior staff with administrative tasks, and other duties and projects as needed. Qualified candidates should have excellent communications and interpersonal skills, should be team-oriented, highly organized, and resourceful. Candidates with Georgia ties are strongly encouraged to apply.
