Senators Reverend Warnock, Ossoff Secure Over $22 Million for Georgia Community Health Centers

Washington, D.C. –– Today U.S. Senators Reverend Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff announced more than $22 million in funding they secured for infrastructure investments at community health centers across the state of Georgia. The funding comes from the American Rescue Plan, which Sens. Ossoff and Rev. Warnock helped pass earlier this year.

The funding Sens. Rev. Warnock and Ossoff secured will help improve quality of care for Georgians and make improvements to Georgia’s community health centers so they can serve the communities for years to come.

I am proud to have supported the American Rescue Plan that continues to provide the necessary funding for our overwhelmed health centers, overworked staffs, and recovering communities across our state,” said Sen. Reverend Warnock. “We must continue to do all we can to provide support and funding to our health care infrastructure and workers on the frontlines of this pandemic.”

“This funding will help Georgia health centers remain open, invest in upgrades, and better serve our communities. Sen. Rev. Warnock and I will continue working to deliver the resources necessary to fight COVID-19,” said Sen. Ossoff.
